Hey everyone, I'm Jo and I'm a noob. I picked up my brand new (to me) project vehicle. This is a first for me. First project vehicle, first Toyota and, ironically, my first used vehicle. I am excited to turn this into my off road/camping/bush rig, though I have already had some major kinks to my plan due to vet bills and a puppy with a broken heart. So my project has now gone from being done on a budget to now only completing what I can do for free and holding off on expensive parts. So welcoming ideas and tricks along the way or parts that you aren't using and don't mind giving away/selling for ridiculously cheap then let me know.

And now the info you actually want to know: 1987 4 runner, manual transmission, manual wheel covers, 4x transfer case. Body is in pristine condition other than the usual/expected rust spots, and the damage on the drivers side from getting hit by a deer (thank God it wasn't a moose or I wouldn't have my project vehicle now). The interior is actually in great condition, minor tear on the side of the drivers seat, on in the ceiling on the hard top and a bit of love to go into the dash will make everything pretty simple to start with. Installed a new fuel pump and the vehicle started up with no issues. Even shifting between gears and into reverse was smooth as butter. So great price for a gen 1 4 runner, and great start for a project that I can't afford to do anymore. Lol

Thanks! I have to say you guys in the States have it way easier restoring this vintage of 4 runner...it is ridiculously hard to find parts up here.
