Hey gang. Had my runner for about a year and a half and figured I'd join up. I'll check and see later on if any DFW local folks want to wheel in the next few months.

Way back in my early 20s I got into wheeling, and being a broke young kid I spent a lot of blood and sweat modding a 2002 Xterra. I wheeled that thing harder than it deserved to be wheeled for a number of years, sold it, got a cheap car and later on sold that and got into a TJ Rubicon. It was great for wheeling but otherwise not too practical for what I wanted it to do (camping with more than one person and gear, things like that).

So after many years and many cars I was in my F150 in Moab and parts of CO and decided that the half ton just wasn't cutting it either. I was also weary of some of the mechanical issues I've had so I sold it and got the 4Runner. It reminds me of my old Xterra in so many ways - rugged, simple, reliable and has character.

Here's a somewhat recent shot of my '19 sans the recent RSG slider addition. I don't use FB so hoping that this forum stays active. Not many forums are out there it seems since FB has replaced many.
