I am back to the 4Runner fold, just buying a 2018 TRD Off-Road. My last 4Runner was a 1985 I bought new off the shelf. I drove it for 20 years, cringing as each new piece of it rusted off.

This new one is a bit different, much more refined (and more technology). Hopefully, it will not be to fancy to keep me from using it for the outdoorsee things I do.

Got to go get that first tree branch scratch so I can get on with using it for that which t was made for.

    Welcome to the forum, Mike!

I went through the same thing. I actually felt sick after running down the newly nicknamed pinstripe Road. But, I'm over it now LOL.:D

If you really want to preserve your paint, a ceramic coat will help with the finer scratches. They also make full wraps but I'm not sure what the cost is on those.

Coincidentally, above 90 MPH is where the 4runner starts getting a little sketchy. Maybe it's getting ready to pass through time:eek:
