    Howdy y'all,
I just purchased a 08 V8 4x4 Limited, and I'm not extremely versed on how it should feel.
I notice a one time sharp jump from the rear when getting on the gas after being stopped (say in traffic or a stoplight). Again I'm no expert, but it seems like it could get worse and I'd like for that not to happen. It doesn't happen if i let the truck start moving before i get on the gas. Is this indicative of a future issue or is this normal?
    Please advise

From a dead stop, with a V8 I would imagine you’re slightly spinning the tires and breaking traction if you’re pedal to the metal, especially if you’re stock. Based on your profile picture it looks like you have some street tires on there, which should be easy for that V8 to spin. That’s probably what you’re feeling.

I feel like it isnt the tires, rather something happening in the drivetrain, like it engaging rough? I will say that I dont know enough to know. Maybe jump is the wrong word, more like a clunk or a hitch. I'm definitely not pedal to the metal.
