Knock sensor wire??

    The previous owner chopped this wire off. Having a hard time where it goes. Could it be the knock sensor wire? I attached a pic of it.

    So if the chopped end goes to the harness where does the other end go.

    Where in the harness. All we can see is a black wire.

    Kinda looks like an o2 sensor wire. You have a 22re and that is at the intake. Are there any wires going to the transmission or transfer case?

    Yes its a 22re and there are wires going to transmission and transfer case. This is a single wire that wss choppeeld off at at the plug but plug is missing. Previous owner started to pull the engine, disconnected everything properly but chopped this wire. Now cant find where it goes. Only thing I can think of was the knock sensor. It is a single black wire wrapped in thin wire mesh then wrapped in brown.
