No problem with the tire, that size is factory for some 4Runners.

The +5MM offset is close, but being an 8" wheel vs 8.5" or 9", you'll likely be ok with no rubbing. 0MM or -12MM is likely gonna get you some rubbing.

    Thanks for the reply, Fajitas.

I have a spare on right now (as shown in the attached photo), and it is a P265/70R17. As the size is the same and there is no rubbing right now, can I expect the same ride with the new wheels/tires?

Should I be concerned about the load and speed rating? I'm not familiar with either of those, but know that the higher the number the stiffer in terms of load rating.

The load index on the K0's I'm looking at are 112 and the speed rating is S. I'll have a heavy roof rack & ladder attached and gear in the back, but will mostly likely be riding solo with no passengers, so not sure whether that's considered a 'heavy' truck.

The spare wheel's offset is likely not +5mm. The diameter and width of the tire is one thing, but where it's placed (how far in or out) will affect full lock rubbing, likely in reverse. For example, with a 265/70/r17 tire with the factory +15mm wheel w/ a 7.5" width, no rubbing. When I put the same tire on my new wheels, which were -12mm with a 8.5" width, rub a dub dub.

So the tire is just one factor, the other being the offset and wheel width. I still feel 265/70/r17 on +5mm 8" wheels are ok. If they aren't, you will need to trim a VERY little, and you will not notice it from any angle but underneath.

I pulled the trigger and ordered the wheels and tires before seeing your message. Guess I'll be finding out soon enough as to whether they'll fit. The offset does show +5 on the specs. I'm assuming because the wheels are OEM TRD Pro replicas, designed for 4runners and tacomas, they should fit the 5th gen 4runner accordingly. I've read in other threads that some people have 270/70R17 tires without rubbing, and some have a little rubbing. I'm hoping for the best and fingers crossed!

On another note, if I don't bother replacing the TPMS sensors, will I get an error on my dash? My 2011 Limited shows whether there is low tire pressure, but does not specify which tire. Can the old TPMS sensors be transferred onto the new the wheels/tires?

Thanks for the info regarding the TPMS. If I decided to save money and not have them installed, can the computer be reset to remove the error msg?

My tires arrived today, but they are noticeably bigger than my spare, which has the exact same dimensions 265/70 R17. Am I missing something here?

    Thanks

    Dan

No reason to not run the TPMS, unsure how you can disable it on the dash, not sure you can. Tires looks bigger unmounted from the vehicle and without the weight of the vehicle on them they are taller a little.
