So I guess I'll be the new guy to kick off the 2nd gen build section.

    So I am not new to yoda's. I've had a 2010 Tacoma and a 2013 Tacoma.
I ended up selling them both off because they were to pretty and new to
really have fun down trails and mud holes. I couldn't imagine damaging or
sinking a truck that I still owed payments on.

So that's why I bought this 94 4runner, it was cheap ( bought it for a whooping
$600 ) so if I sink the runner in the water I wont feel too bad about it.

Anyway more about the 4runner. Bought it for $600 bucks with a transmission
issue. All the forward gears work just fine except 4th and reverse takes a little
waiting time before it actually kicks in. other than that its just dirty and needs
some TLC. The Engine seems pretty dam solid and running good. Going to be
doing a FULL servicing on the engine, don't think I will need to rebuild the motor
just yet. Maybe sooner or later I will but well see when the time comes. As of right
now I have not done anything at all to the 4runner. I will be doing things here and
there to get this thing on the road.

Planning on doing mods to this runner to make it great for camping, fishing, beaching.
Of course the occasional off-roading here and there. Going to be a fun project for the family.

    MODS:
Zero Mods so far, bone stock

    NEW PARTS REPLACED:
    -Transmission mount
    -Valve cover gaskets
    -rear main seal
    -Rebuild transmission

    Welcome.
    Now get to work.
    Engine looks tight and clean.
    Body appears straight.
    Fun project truck.

Thanks engine seems good to go.
Already got a rebuild kit for the transmission in the way.

Once I get that rebuilt, should be on the road

Good one lol. that's actually my dad's hand. Lost his ring finger a long time ago.
Due to a conveyer machine and wearing his wedding band.

Got the transmission back, ended up giving it to a shop to rebuild it. did have the time to do the
job myself. Got it back in and was able to get to the driver side valve cover gasket.

I do have to say for a truck with 200k+ miles the valves don't look as bad as I thought they would.
Also think I figured out why my speedometer isn't working

that thing looks super clean and hell of a price to be able to start with then build how you want..... look forward to seeing more update as it progresses
