    Last post about this...

Wanting to find black wheels that sit stock for my 4Runner.

Loved the style of SCS F5s, Black Rhino Realms, and Work MeisterS1s, but they all have specs that will poke out or need a lift.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you want a guaranteed stock fit then stay stock with the wheels. My suggestion is to find a set of stock wheels for sale on one of your local or regional marketplace type boards and get them powder coated. That's what I did with the trail wheels.

I ran 17×9" @-6 offset and only rubbed while turning and braking simultaneously. This could have been fixed by heating the mud-flap and reshaping it, or buying aftermarket mud-flaps. A 17×8 shouldn't rub unless you're running a lot of negative offset.

    Thanks @Thatbassguy!
I was trying to get the SCS F5's that are 17x8.5" with -10 offset and was told I'd need some lining trimming, so kinda shying away from them as I wouldn't know what tf I'd be doing in trimming or heating/reshaping..

At -10 you will probably rub the mud-flaps like I was. It should only rub occasionally. You can adjust the mud-flaps by heating them with a heat gun and pushing it with a piece of wood or any blunt object.

If you really like the wheels, you can make it work. Otherwise, you're best off at 0 offset or some positive offset.

Well I was gonna just take the mud flaps off all together to prevent rubbing, but was told even with that, I'd still have to cut into lining.
Also, planning on putting on BFG All Terrain K02 tires, so not sure if that'll add more chance of rubbing / scraping.
I do love the wheels, so wanting to make them work if I can, but don't want to order and buy them without knowing for sure.

I can't guarantee you anything, but at -6 offset and stock size KO2's, I only rubbed the mud-flaps, occasionally.

I'm hoping some more folks can chime in here.
