    2012 4Runner SR5 Trail Edition
Hi! New to the forum! Hoping to see if anyone has encountered the same issue I’m having with my 4Runner

I have a 2012 4Runner SR5 Trail Edition. Bought it new. Have not had any issues (knock on wood) till this past weekend. Seems to possibly be electrical?

We were taking my car to the beach. Had been driving for approximately 4 hours. The interior lights would go on and off including the dash board and radio lights. Happened a few times and then when the lights would go off/on my 4Runner felt like the engine was skipping/missing. Happened for approximately 1 minute and then stopped.

We drove the 4Runner around at the beach, no problems and then on the way home, the same issues happened again. This time about 2 hours into our drive home.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Check your battery, and battery terminals / connections?

Check your grounds. DC voltage is really quirky when it experiences bad grounds
