Hey guys, I just bought my first 4Runner and have always admired this car. With that being said I'm excited to start modding and customizing.

    1) I have a venture edition and want to change out the gun-metal gray wheels to the black TRD wheels. Will it make a difference if I get them 8 inches wide instead of 7? My thinking is to put 17x8 TRD wheels and 275/70/17 tires. Can these tires and these rims be put on the 4Runner? I also plan to do 1.25 spidertrax spacers. I have stock suspension and do not expect to get a lift soon.

    2) I like the look of the aftermarket bumpers with winches, but a lot of them have the grill protection bar and I think that would get in the way of the Emergency Alert Braking System that is on the grill of the 2020 4Runners. Anyone know if it would disable the EABS or know of aftermarket bumpers that won't get in the way of the EABS??

I have a Victory 4x4 Blitz aluminum with a winch in it, and it doesn’t have any bull bars. It looks stock. Really clean and simple.

You can absolutely do this but a couple of things. You'll have to get Pro replica wheels since Toyota doesn't actually make Pro wheels in with an 8" width. Forget the name of the company that makes them, but someone will chime in with that info.

Also, you're likely to rub with that set-up......mainly because of the wheel spacers. No big deal though, that can be fixed pretty easily.

Fixed how? Just trimming the inner wheel well plastic parts and removing front mud flaps? Or something else?

Yeah, it’s a Victory Blitz in aluminum with a Warn Evo vr 10s - total weight 102.4 lbs. works great, easy install.

More than likely that will be all you have to do. Some people also have to do a Body Mount Chop.

BMC if I want to run bigger wheels with a lift, not for 275 tho. I believe.
