    Hey all,

I am new to the 4runner community and am decided a 4runner will be my next car (yay!). I've been shopping around a bit, and got an offer of 37.5k for this ORP:

I'm wondering if that's a good price in this current covid market? Only downside is no kdss, but I am also finding it very hard to find 4runners with kdss in Texas for some reason.

Pretty sure I'm going with ORP after researching the different trims, and the extras such as crawl control and locking rear diff are worth it for me. Still learning alot, so thanks!

    That's a good price. I paid 37K for my 2020 ORP.

    That’s a great deal.

Lol, hits me right in the feels seeing what people are getting ORP’s for compared to what I paid for my Pro in January!

    Welcome to the forum!

I paid $38.6K for my '19 with KDSS and felt like it was a good deal. So, that price sounds good to me .

Good luck with your purchase! Post pictures once you close the deal.:)

So I should not pay 43,000 for ORP with KDSS?? Negotiating right now. Being told that's the 'invoice' with KDSS and they won't go lower. Might need to look around more...

Thanks, i'll keep looking. This was the closest dealer and they dont have an ORP with KDSS in white that I want so they were getting it somewhere else. Thanks for the heads up! MSRP was 45,600 and he sent some screenshot showing 43k as their price, knew it couldn't be right...

KDSS is pretty cool. I’d drive one before deciding not to get it on the basis of cost.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
If you go with the non-KDSS 4Runner just keep in mind that you'll probably want to add a suspension lift kit quickly to improve the handling.
An Eibach Pro Truck Lift runs about $750 + install. I paid $400 to have one installed on my OR.

I was hoping for a deal on a Tacoma TRD Off Road to go with my 4Runner. I don't think the CCP Virus is having the effect on Toyota that we thought it would. My local dealer is selling cars and trucks like mad. No new inventory but current inventory is flying off of the lot. You'd think it would be the opposite.

I'm reading that Hertz is filing bankruptcy and there could soon be a huge glut of used rental cars on the market.

I looked at their car sales website yesterday. They have a ton of 4Runners for sale.

I paid $37k for my 2020 TRDOR last month here in Columbus, Ohio. Not sure if the price varies by region.

Great price, but you guys in the US have pretty great prices on everything. Up here in Canada that’s around 51,900 and about the price of a new SR5. It seems like ORs are in short supply this year, and kind of rare. I don’t know what one would cost, if you could find one. Probably mid 50s, in Canadian dollars. A lot more than you pay in the US.

Great price - I paid almost exactly the same for mine. I got my 2020 TRD ORP 2 days before the dealership here in GA had to close it's sales dept. due to COVID.

You guys got deals......I paid $36K and change for a base model SR5.....not a Premium,or TRD or ORP. (The MSRP was $39K and change.)

I bought mine last week in New Hampshire.
Every SR5 on the lot was marked down $3000 from $39000 to $36,000. Except for the factory $500 rebate, there was no more room to haggle. That was the price.
