I just bought a 95 with the 3.0 and I am just looking for some knowledge resources. I am really new to auto work, but I really want to get into this beauty. What is some solid resources to learn from beyond the forums? Any great books or online resources?

Get yourself a full set of Factory Service Manuals (FSM's) for your model from eBay. I have never found another automotive manufacture that can compare with the FSM's that Toyota produces. Not even Honda has as good a set of publications as does Toyota.

    Hello Again ATG
Can you send a specific link to the FSM for the 2nd Gen 4Runner (1992)? I'm not trying to be lazy. And, without inflating your head too much, I just really respect all I've seen you write and want to make sure I get the correct. I saw a PDF repair manual from Korea that looks pretty extensive. But, I am very hesitant on buying anything in an electronic format from another country.

Monkey Twitch, those look to be what you would need. They split up the major mechanical areas into two manuals and then there is usually a third that will have the color coded wiring diagrams in it.

Try to search for some books on Amazon or https://mytextbooks.org.
But you should consider other sources as well. Check for some YouTube channels , there are a lot of people making vlogs about vehicles. You'll find some good info there as well.
Already you mentioned the forums! You can try to find some FB groups of car lovers or 4 Runners fans. Nowadays, you can find a lot of sources.
Don't forget about your local library , you never know what you can find there.
    Hopefully, I could help , bud )))
