    Hey y'all!

First post here and very possibly will be a first time Toyota owner this weekend!

Currently considering a 2007 Limited 4WD V8 4.7 EFI @ 179k miles for $9,750. It's had two owners and the previous owner of 4 years is a Toyota MDT technician, car has been 100% Texas owned since purchase and has no rust on the frame.

    Here's the deets

    - Black
    - Full cream leather
    - JBL system
    - Back up camera
    - Heated seats
    - Moonroof and power down rear window
    - ToyTec 3” lift.
    - JBA upper control arms.
    - Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks all the way around.
    - 275/65R18 Nitto Ridge Grappler
    - Timing belt and water pump done @ 120k miles
    - 150k service Inc Transmission flush, Coolant flush, Front differential Transfer case & Rear diff services.
    - Oil change every 5k miles with Castroil GTX high mileage and Lucas oil additive
    - All servicing at Toyota

    On top of the above current owner has also purchased some additional parts that they are offering to fit @ their Toyota garage for the price which includes;

    - New headlights
    - Two new interior trim panels, not sure which but they said there was some wear
    - Power steering rack - Not currently leaking but he said that one day it will
    - New factory JBL sub

    Would love to get some feedback and attaching some photos 4RUNNER.jpg 4 runner 3.jpg 4RUNNER.jpg 4 runner 3.jpg 97061915_260230488557671_1462297817232965632_n.jpg Toyota.jpg 98013800_2693211794274974_3664744664231051264_n.jpg 4RUNNER.jpg 4 runner 3.jpg 4 runner 2.jpg Toyota.jpg 97061915_260230488557671_1462297817232965632_n.jpg 98013800_2693211794274974_3664744664231051264_n.jpg 97485492_2596624957274441_2600060750164656128_n.jpg 97513704_2575246426138140_8787712703494881280_n.jpg 97529487_582226569076871_350792914189680640_n.jpg 97546138_552307365720634_2927096851620429824_n.jpg 97603376_2618015735186347_627348697352503296_n.jpg 97655809_623001181626443_7542052057419612160_n.jpg 97655909_167449831367237_5375481630590763008_n.jpg 97721466_2128193677326084_5169750906111000576_n.jpg 97846147_2775371599388858_502602403032334336_n.jpg 97943404_1321185434937336_6690541152803749888_n.jpg 97982317_232621474700383_6760067507865780224_n.jpg 98058708_241071143627200_5506184988715909120_n.jpg 97926082_270417711028519_1915705385684041728_n.jpg

You can get a 5th gen for 12k. But that looks GREAT. And a lot of maintenance has been done...

Thanks! Yeah, i've seen a few but struggling to find any with the 4WD option for less than 15k. Would you say 5th gen's are generally better?

5th gens are great, but if you want a V8 you'll have to stick with a 4th gen.

That thing looks clean and it sounds like the maintenance has been kept up. Sounds like a reasonable deal to me.

If you do end up getting it, take off that TRD PRO badge tho.

Due to all the maintenance performed on it, I would say go for it. Looks like a solid vehicle.

There's no such thing as a 4th gen TRD Pro.

The TRD Pro trim for the 4Runner started in 2015.

But if you like it, keep it.

Thanks for everyones answers, sadly, the owner is no longer selling. There was a huge storm in central TX this weekend and his parents car got flooded out so he gave them his 4 runner. Onto the next one!

So the guy's parents need a truck so managed to complete the deal! Pick her up tomorrow and excited to join the 4runner family! Previously always had Audi's so looking forward to some (hopefully) less expensive maintenance ahead! I'm sure there is probably a thread for this already but wondering what the best aftermarket head unit is that would still work with the backup camera + add apple carplay?

You came across a beauty and well kept to the max. I hope you bought it. And yes i agree take off that TRD badge, a bit tacky, and same as above stated TRD for 4runners in that gen did not exist, that's why, but if you like it then keep it.
As far as a aftermarket head unit I'd say go with a Pioneer MVH1400NEX its pricy but looks great and has the features you want and more I'm sure.
I had my brother (he's into all that stereo upgrading and modifications) he installed the Pioneer AVH with a backup camera, its been a few years i don't exactly remember the details of the model and I'm too lazy to go look it up but it works great. It doesn't have apple car play. I don't have the JBL sound system in mine, its just the regular stock speakers and man the head unit powered my stock speakers so good. It sounds like i have a subwoofer installed.
My brother and his wife took my 4runner for a little weekend getaway and when they reached their destination my brother called me and asked "did you get a subwoofer installed in here without me knowing" and he was serious and bit annoyed thinking I did get a sub put in behind his back haha
I can just imagine how great this will make your sound system sound with those JBL speakers. I've been thinking about upgrading my speakers but then i back out because it sounds great with the stocks.
    Best of luck!
