2.5" suspension lift is about it so far. I am building at the moment. I have two a 1988 daily driver, and a 1986 I am restoring and building.
Is it possible to convert my 1988 4runners brake system to that of a 1996 t100? To use calipers, rotors and such as a swap?

I am not exactly sure about 1st gen IFS brake upgrades, but the t100 calipers and rotors may work. I know people have used the 2nd gen V6 calipers and rotors. I recommend upgrading the booster and MC at the same time. The t100 and 2nd gen V6 boosters are dual diaphram and will bolt right up with a 2nd gen V6 13/16" MC or a 1" bore MC like the FJ80's have.

I have a solid front axle and upgraded my entire system. I am using a t100 booster, FJ80 1" MC with a manual proportioning valve (removed factory LSPV), FROR front brake mounting kit with 2003 Tundra calipers/rotors, and FROR rear full float kit with 5th 4runner rear discs. This setup stops amazing.
