So they are sold out. If you go on their website they have a notify me when back in stock option. Might be the best route.

    Cheers, everyone!

I'm relaxing after a long day with a Kona Wailua Wheat and some Kaniche XO rum. Good stuff!

I guess I'm just a boring drinker. Bit of JB Bourbon (or pretty much any bourbon for that matter) over some ice and I am good. I went crazy last night and added a bit of club soda.

Haha. Heard about these last year and poo pooed them but the alcohol / carb / calorie ratio is good for pounding a few and still going to work without issue

I have heard if you take a few sips & refill with vodka it is a good mixer. Not to be the devil's advocate! LMAO
"There is no laws, when on the claws" I hate that statement!
I don't like over carbonated alcohol for myself. I hate champagne!
Good luck with the vodka mixer. Let me know.

I actually like those as well on occasion.

I don't have to work tomorrow, so I'm having a Margerita with my Mexican take-out. I couldn't find Island Dave's, so I decided to try "Spooky." I like it!

I drink Jack... I'm a whiskey fan all the way... But especially buying in bulk like that, I don't consider that a deal at all. You can buy 250 bottles cheaper... Best case scenario you will get 250 bottles out a barrel, more likely 200, maybe less with loss factored in.

If you get 150 bottles, 750ml per bottle, per barrel, that's still over 50 bucks a bottle. Best case scenario you're looking at over 30 bucks a bottle at 250 bottles per barrel. Sure you get the barrel... But 250 labeled bottles would probably cost more than 1 barrel... I'd think

I've seen Jack recently less than $25 a bottle for 750ml... You'd think things are cheaper in bulk, noticeably cheaper in the 7-8K range instead of 20-30 dollar range... In which case I'd think a barrel priced at $2500 would be a good deal, but nothing much over that. At that price a bottle would be between 10-17 dollars depending on how many MLs you can suck out the barrel.

Speaking of whiskey... Having a buddy from the 4runner world cut me out a sign for over my bar in my garage... 36X36. Gonna be a good size!

It's cut, getting black powder coated and then headed to me.

I enjoyed a bottle of Blind Pig from Russian River tonite. We get limited supplies of Russian River here in Colorado, so when I find it, I stock up. I've got a couple of bottles of Pliny the Elder waiting on space in the fridge too...

Blind Pig is one of my favorites. Pretty underrated beer when you compare it to the success of Pliny.

Get those Pliny's in the fridge STAT! Oxidation happens at a quicker rate when they are warm. Compromise elsewhere. That chicken didn't need refrigeration.

Funny you mention that...I made room and Pliny is now chilling nicely! RR used to send two cases of Pliny a month to my local store - there would waiting line on Fridays when it was available.

Pliny's great and all, but not wait in line great, IMO.

I'll happily buy a bottle when I see it, but that's as far as I go.

Good man for getting those in the fridge! Your taste buds will thank you!

Pliny *is* good, but not worth the hunt some people do out here. Avery brewing makes a double IPA called Maharaja that I like better, but they've stopped bottling it and went to cans. I'm still a bottle snob, especially with Imperials. Russian River does have fantastic bottles for home brewers though. Pliny, Blind Pig, and STS Pils on the menu! Got a couple of Stones up top too.
