Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
After it rains, I find a lot of moisture on my hood. This usually results in my entire drive being as if I'm driving through the rain because the water comes up from the hood and onto my windshield.

Does anyone have a good method for preventing this? Perhaps ceramic coating the hood?

Wax or ceramic will help, if you go wax go synthetic vs carnuba.
I really don't notice excessive water after a rain.

Like i posted on the other forum. Water will collect behind the hood inscoop. Ceramic, Sealant and wax will all help, but it will still leave water spots. Micro fiber towel and some instant detailer to dry it off.

Thanks, guys. I guess I'll be going with a ceramic coat when masks are more available. I wouldn't want to do it without a mask.

Its not that bad. I did mine in a carport and had zero issues. Hardest part is the prep, but no different then doing a full exterior detail.

Its silica based. Like sand and glass using a polymer liquid for application. Gloves more important then a mask. A good kit will come with everything you need... Excluding mask.
