Hello I'm a 2yr Tundras.com member and looking at purchasing a 4runner to have as a toy. I live in central California and wanted to see if you guys can help me find one and also what I should look into as far as any known issues. I'm looking at 3rd and 4th gen not looking at spending more than 10k

For less than 10K expect to find a high mileage one. Just make sure maintenance has been done on a regular basis. I would stay away from one that hasn't.

They are just so hard to find. What would you recommend between both gens?
