I used this company for the paint, but I also matched the cavalry blue. Used it on all the badges and overlays.

I also used SprayMax 2K clear coat. I don't remember what primer I used though, but I did use an adhesion promoter. Thing to remember with adhesion promoters is you need to get your primer coat on within 10-15 minutes. I think I waited about 7 or 8 minutes due to the temperature in June.

I called around to different spots and got quotes from 380 to 265 but I was able to get it done for 280 and get them done in a week. I hope it helps to negotiate prices.

Where does one find a good tire shop to mount these. Around me it's hard to find any that don't muck up a rim!

Buy a soft core interior lug socket for the black lugs. My buddy had some & he got a plastic outer & felt interior (iirc) to be used with torque wrench only. Contact a high end wheel sales place. You may have to order one.

Thank you. Years back had NTB ruin an oem black Matt rim. They bought me a new one and just handed it to me. Said they couldn't mount it without scratches. I took it to 2 area shops who declined said thier gear would scratch it. Discount said no problem and went flawless. Last year on my 19 runner discount scratched the heck out of the oem gray pro rims. I guess the shop is only as good as the kid doing the work.
I like the idea of powder coat as I like the trail rims. I'll have to scout out looking for a specialist shop

    Looks great!

I had the rims on my Jeep SRT powder coated a similar satin black. Love the look, and seem to stay looking cleaner than the matte finish.

Now you got to get to work blacking out those roof rails!
