Well, I came across a deal no one could pass up on a 89' 4runner 22re 5 speed. Original owner, all original 63k miles. Needs some basic body work (rust around fenders etc) has been sitting in the drive way for 2 years being started and run occasionally. Now its time to bring er home and dissect the beast. For the price i picked it up for if i find any funny business that i missed upon inspection i will just turn it into a trail rig. Let the fun begin!

Sorry it took me a few days to respond, but thats what im working with.. upon arrival i did however find one small spot in the front driver side of the frame that does seem to need a plate.. but the rest of the frame and undercarriage was maintained and frequently rust proofed and looks promising. For the $300 dollars one mans trash is anothers treasure what do u expect though im gonna reinspect everything underneath and weld that spot up and thoroughly look over everything once again then if its up to par start with the basics, brakes, tune up ect and just go from there.. yota guys swear by yotas so i guess ill find out what the hypes all about ive seen the prices of these motors so thats why i jumped in this feet first the motor and drive train is sound and in working order. Being a mechinacally inclined guy I truly believe the previous owner didnt know what he let go of (lets hope)
