-New nightshade editions for Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. 4Runner will still have one as well. They will be based on the limited package for all trim models, with dark grey, white and black being available colors.

-New trail packages. Based on SR5 platforms. Tundra and Tacoma get limited package grills and very large bed storage with one side being insulated for drinks and food. The 4Runner gets a Toyota branded yeti cooler for the trunk and a roof basket. All models get blacked-out rims (4Runner will have blacked out TRD offroad rims). Colors include cement and army green along with some standard colors

-no news on TRD Pro models or color

-no news on next-gen trucks, but rumors have the next-gen Tundra will be on lots December 2021 so if this is true next years auto show may be interesting.

So the Trail Edition, which became the TRD Off Road model, is now an SR5 with a Yakima basket and a Yeti cooler. Wee. I guess at least a couple of Pro colors finally get recycled on another trim level.

So you can get a 2021 Trail (which is based off an SR5) in Cement?

    Damn, I love cement.

So basically we are getting an SR5 model with some expensive items that do nothing to enhance it's abilities for an added price with former Pro colors?

    Talk about a step back.

Now if they offered a TRD Trail w/KDSS and Cement I'd be first in line.

Hope more news is still pending.

So the 2021 Trail is basically a Venture Edition with a different color?

Yep and got a nickel says they start losing sales on AG pros.
Dickweeds sold out. People even a month ago were paying 5k + for AG and now it's coming out in a lower trim .
    Shame on Toyota

Looks like their only making 4,000 of them.

Curious what the price tag will be.

I bet it'll be pretty unreasonable for an SR5.

This. I had my eyes on a Yeti.

But I'll take one with Toyota on it if I can buy separately.

As much as I hate the price tag, they are really nice!

Nope. The trail is built off of the SR5 while the Venture is built off of the ORP. It won't have the locker or crawl control unless Toyota adds it to the package.

So now it’ll be the SR5, SR5P, Trail, TRD Off Road, ORP, Venture, TRD Pro, Limited and Limited Nightshade? That’s a lot of versions.

Welcome to milking the end of a platform! Not that they really need to the way it sells.

Now, a Toyota or TRD branded Dometic fridge would be worth it.

As someone else said, this is classic end-of-product-line milking. Got to keep the sells going so third party add-ons, some unique limited edition colors, and sell baby sell.

Good to see though, because it means the new sixth gen is not far off. I'm salivating for sixth gen, even if it is going to be a hybrid.

So will the 2021 off road T4R be available in army green and cement? Or just the “SR5 Trail” edition?

    Just the SR5 Trail editions.

4,000 of them will be made, according to the info we have now. That could change.
