I have tried searching for a thread with prices people have paid for their 2020 4Runner with no success. Can someone point me towards one or is there even one for the 2020 4runners yet?

    Thanks!

    Currently stock; MODS coming soon.
What trim level and options? You also probably include region or area your shopping in as well.

Got this offer today, thoughts? Think I can work them down a bit more? Seems like a decent deal already!

10 to 12 percent off msrp seems to be the best most are getting.

OTD price isn’t really relevant with taxes varying by where you live.

Taxes are only .5% here, so not really enough to raise the price by a significant amount.
Waiting to see if I can come across a used 2020 to save a little more.

Right but someone else’s OTD could be based on 5% tax, or a maintenance plan, or extended warranty, trade in value is not taxed at in a lot of states, etc. Any one variable makes it an apples to oranges comparison.

But yeah, slightly used is always a good idea, let someone else take the initial depreciation hit.

Just be aware that even used prices on 4Runner are pretty outrageous. They are just not losing value like they should. Which would be great if you can get a good deal on a new one.

Yeah I’ve found the 4Runners retain their value like crazy. Unless I find one where I’m saving $3k+ off new, I’d rather buy new at that point.

I ended up going new with my tacoma and the 4runner because used always seemed to be within 3 or 4 thousand of new.

2020 OR PREMIUM with sunroof, rubber mats, NO running boards, something around 39.5+, forgot exact number, but it ended up being 9+% discount. Seems about where most we’re settling, some as high as 12%, but 8-10% felt about average.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. Truck is about to be paid off so it’ll be a huge chunk of change towards the 4runner. I will probably buy new since most of them here are only about 2k off in difference. I think I might be better off waiting till around late November/December to get the best deal on a 2020.

Not bad to wait. Are there any 19s still around?

I purchased a 2020 SR5 Premium with 3rd row seating, predator tube steps, blackout emblem overlays, moonroof, and a couple of other options 3 weeks ago. I paid $38,517 before taxes which was about $6k off MSRP. My recommendation would be to decide on the trim and options you want then email several dealerships looking for the best price. I contacted 10 dealerships within 2 hours driving distance of my home then had the 3 dealers with the lowest quotes compete for my business. Obviously this advice doesn’t really work if you’re after a TRD Pro because it’s my understanding that you’re lucky to get one of those for MSRP.

Yeah there’s very few, but I really want the new head unit! The Apple car play would really come in handy when using GAIA GPS.

Yeah the Pro is a odd duck. I know I want a TRD Off-Road, and I got an out the door price of $33,900 for non-premium OR and 37,200 for the premium OR. I’m just waiting to decide which trim to get in the OR’s as I’ll be doing a mild overland build with a full roof rack and what not.

Hi there! $33,900 for non-premium OR seem very good indeed, mind sharing where/which dealer you obtained this nice quote at?

    Thanks!

I paid 42k for mine. ORP. However there is a 9.9% sales tax and I got an extended warranty.

That's a really good price for a 2020. Do you mind sharing what state you're in?

$50,850 is what I paid for my Pro which is MSRP. I had to go to nevada to get it without a markup. After paying CA taxes and fees and interest on the loan at 4.5% the total is $56K

I think that's the best price I've seen for an SR5P.

2021 4Runner SR5 Premium, with sunroof and rubber mats. MSRP $43,184. 10% discount $4,318, $750 Rebate, then tax 6% PA and tags. I got it out the door for an even $41,000, and I used their financing so they could get their kickback.

Now watch them throw 0% financing on these guys, my dealer just got a pant load of them, I guess the boat made it finally.
