Thought I'd share this with y'all... A guy on the Florida 4runner Facebook group makes these. I'm going to hang one in my garage.

    20" x 23" 16 ga steel painted black.

That's cool man. Too bad those certs will lapse because you aren't technically employeed in the field. But hell you passed the tests and know the information. So that counts for a lot.

Yea man I got quite a few guys that ask me why I even bother taking the ASE exams since I won't be working in the field, they only do it to make more money... And it's not required for the college programs... But I'm just doing this for me...

I’m going to have to look into something like this as well. I drop my retirement in August, depending on the VA process I’ll either have to find a job or a hobby

North Central Florida, 20 minutes from Gainesville, out in the woods.

Good to have a hobby! The GI Bill is paying all my schooling so that's a plus. I was about to lose it and decided I'd never forgive myself for not using it.

I like fishing more than wrenching... But fishing cost money LOL

The 4Runner was pretty muddy so I took it through a touch free car wash while I was out getting some brake calipers and a rear trailing arm for an Impala, then came back and gave her a quick wipe down with some Mother's "quick detail"... Then decided I should hit the river a bit tomorrow and hooked up the boat and drank a beer.

Replaced all interior lights with LEDs from fyre fly. So far good quality but those map lights were hell to get out. Love the increased brightness. The only ones I did not replace were the puddle lights that require you to take apart the whole mirror and the glove light compartment (couldn't figure out how to get the bulb out. For the price I am quite happy.

After a quick detail yesterday i found a crazy amount of water spots on all the glass. This was to be expected do to the nonstop rain since November. So this morning i tried something my grand dad would do. Lava soap and 99% alcohol. Couldn't find 99% so tried 91. Crazy thing is, it worked. Glass looks better then it did on the toyota lot. Didn't work on the sunroof, but all the vertical glass is beaming.

Nice, I'll try it! I used Groits glass clay with good luck. Also found that vinegar helps with water spots. When its all clean then seal it with meguires liquid ceramic and water slides right off for months

Barkeepers friend works really well too. I buy the powder form and make a pretty liquidy solution and apply it like wax kinda then rinse the window off and use my normal glass cleaner.

I have some stuff from chem guys, but I'm tired of spending money on overpriced individual items. Megs compound worked on the sunroof. Invisible glass, chem guy glass, clay bar, vinegar and some misc polishes all failed on the water spots/ etching. Decided to give the lava a shot, before spending more. Used it like a clay bar and was shocked how easy it worked. Wouldn't want to make a habit of using the alcohol with the rubber and plastics, but I've been playing with these dealer "etched" windows off and on for over a year and got tired of "good enough for a Daily driver".

Nothing fancy but did add the RCI filler plate to the victory skid.

Cleans the look up a little i think, when you installed your front skid, did you also put a mid skid?

I like it, definitely helps the look. And I only did the engine skid. Really only did it for easier access for servicing the 4runner.

I swear I have the worst luck when it comes to windshields. In the last 5-6 years I’ve had them fixed or replaced at least once a year.

First time with the Yoda, hopefully just a repair not replace

Slowly but surely I getting scared!
That’s not specially about this case or this company, it’s more a general thing
I’m still used to high quality products and customer service that Im getting feared to be upset, no matter where I purchase from.

Especially in the smaller industry’s the motto should be: “create a good product or don’t do it at all”
That incl. market research, product development etc. as well as customer service.

Not thatsomeone misunderstood me, I don’t point my fingers at victory4x4, I don’t think they are better or worse then other!
