    Lots of people with the orp swap from silver to black. It may be found cheaper? Might be aftermarket also. As mentioned I would make the dealer eat it...was it on the rig before you bought it?

    It was on the the truck before i got IT! I didn’t realize they screwed it in smh!

    i will be heading in there Thursday or Friday to try and get them to pay for it.

    Washington requires front plates and as far as I know, so does Oregon so...why is it an issue?

    I live in Oregon and in highschool drove a slammed Isuzu pickup with rollpans. I don't know how many times I got pulled over for having my license plates in my windshield and back window hahaha.

    Lol never. I’ve never had a front license plate in Washington. Never been pulled over. Oregon is really strict with that.

    I have no idea why anyone needs front plates. Around here we have to keep a valid sticker on the rear. Thats what police look for to make money off expired plates

    He’s in a state that requires front plates so the dealership has to install the plate in the location designated by the law. Dealership doesn’t owe him anything as this is common practice for states with front plate laws

    You know...technically they could have screwed it right into that nice TRD Pro Toyota valance on the grill. Per this.

    “(5)(a) Display. License plates must be:
    (i) Attached conspicuously at the front and rear of each vehicle if two license plates have been issued;
    (ii) Attached to the rear of the vehicle if one license plate has been issued;
    (iii) Kept clean and be able to be plainly seen and read at all times; and
    (iv) Attached in a horizontal position at a distance of not more than four feet from the ground.
    (b) The Washington state patrol may grant exceptions to this subsection if the body construction of the vehicle makes compliance with this section impossible.”


    If I were a dealer and someone came in to complain about it I’d screw they shit right into their grill and cite the law!
