    Hey,

i tried the search function but I can’t find anything, maybe lack of translation on my side...
Anyway, I miss the function of 1x tip and 3x flashes on the turn signal that i had in previous vehicles so I try to find out how to add it!
Can’t really find a clear answer, is it just the flasher relay or is it in the ecu?
I would like if it’s just the relay but I can’t imagine that it is so easy like in my old vw where I was able to add interval to the wipers with only switching out the relay!?

I know, but it wouldn’t be a bad feature so I’m wondering if there is a easy solution for that like switch out the flasher relay

I was just talking about this the other day. There has to be be a simple fix for this..is it the relay that gives the signal to the blinkers? I was surprised that the 2020 model didn’t have this feature.

There would have to be something in the switch, i would think.

I'm accustomed to just holding the switch for a second and then letting it go.

    I like the idea, though.

    That’s definitely a mod I want to do. I have a 2018 Tacoma Pro and I’m so use to 1xtip for 3xflash.

is there a chance that you got a 4runner too and I/we could convince you to take that relay and try it in the 4runner?

there is a big chance that’s just the relay, like in a lot of vehicles, never seen it in the switch!
I just read about Prius owners that do the trick with the relay, was a euro forum but ill stay on it

I could see this being a feature of the flasher module, if that's what you mean.

Relays are usually on or off.

You might be able to get a different flasher module that would have the feature.

Just found a guy that’s doing plug’ n play and diy solutions for Toyota.
In case there is a plug n play solution for a fair price would be someone else interested?

i can’t say a price right now but similar ones that he sold cost $60
it would come from Europe so I guess with additional costs it would be a little more than that but what I seen it looks really good, the comfort module is added into the oem turn signal module housing. Looks clean it’s just a plug n play.
