    Hi all-

We are moving into a new home - max height in garage in the center is 71” due to the garage door opener. I have higher clearance on the sides where the roof rack rails would be. Does anyone know the height in the middle of the car?

My 2015 Q7 has no issue. Looking to get a second car.

    Thank you!
    Steve

Height is listed at 72", but it doesn't say if that's with or without the side rails.

    Maybe someone else will know.

I know that mine was 82" on stock suspension with Yakima cross bars and a Thule MOAB basket:D

Good call! Take a tape measure along and find out first hand.

Walked outside with a tape measure - the top of the rails and shark fin measure right about 72", the cross bars add about 1/4 - 3/8" additional height. 2019 OR, stock.
