The only car uglier than a mustang is a Dodge Viper, which to me, looks like a clown shoe. I'll stick with my 2006 Z06 Corvette:)

When a large company states it is paying over $30 an hour they are including the benefits at a given worth. Company clothing and hard toed shoes , sick time , insurance , 401k , vacation , retirement , holidays , etc. The actual amount you would get on your check is MUCH less. AND that amount is subject to many kinds of taxes and union dues. ALSO the union will expect you to give to some kind of union backed charities. 9 years ago my company statement said I made $87 per hour. I actually got about half that amount on my check to iive on. 40 years company service. Looking back after all these years the best benefit is a company matching 401k but when you're young you want more on your check to live on. The last 3 years people have made tons of money off the 401k. The stock market is roaring.

You can't buy $1500 phones and motorcycles and go on cruises , etc if you're pouring money into a 401k but you are losing money if you don't. Also buy a home that you think you can't afford. After several years of struggling to make the payment you'll see you lived there for free because of the housing market increase value.

Went to a Mecum auction, and quite frankly, the Shelby fetches more $$$ on the auction block than the Roush. The Roush doesn't have the Shelby "aura" surrounding it.

Thank you! Sadly, she won't be going outdoors anytime soon. Heck, I hate getting my 4Runner all covered in salt and crap after the snowstorm we just went through.

Ah, the old Vette/Stang debates. I will enjoy every minute I have with my '13 GT500. And you will enjoy your Vette. And never the twain shall meet.

I understand your point, but I'm talking about an actual hourly wage.

Never claimed my Stang would whoop on a Vette, just said I like the feel and look of mine over these European stylings you find in the market these days.

Well I wouldn’t trade my Z28 for either of them. Hand built by me....I’ve had it for 25 years...F0375F7E-3EBB-4EF2-9441-B38BC6451E85.jpg
