Just find a dealer and order the PRO factory wheels or wait to find a used set on here or craigslist. The TRD wheels and tires are the same size your SR5 has on it now. The stock TRD PRO tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers in the 265/70/17 size. There are better tires out there IMO but they do ok if that is what you want.

Olathe Toyota usually has good prices on these wheels.

As for the tires, I'd consider the General Grabber ATX or the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. In the Nitto Light Truck lineup, the Terra Grappler G2 looks like a better choice and Nitto manufactures it in many more 17-inch-wheel sizes than the original Terra Grappler. In fact, Nitto doesn't even show a 265/70/17 (stock size for all 4Runners except the Limited) Terra Grappler on their website.

I’ve put about 300 miles on my new Falkens & I am very impressed!! Not too loud at all & very smooth on the xpressway. No wobble or vibration at any speed. I got them up to 85mph.
Highly recommend. FYI...I did do the SL not the E Load.

I drive 75 miles a day so I went with P rated 265/70R17. Amazing how a good AT Tire looks compared to stock tires!

    Waiting for your opinions...
I will tell you that the SR5 Premium wheels are 17x7 and the Pros are 17x7.5. This may give you a couple more options as you get into a larger tire size.

The TRD Pro wheels from Toyota (not FN) are 17x7 as well, not 7.5.

Not really an upgrade. Think you should just spend the money on aftermarket ones.

Just added the Lamin-X fog light overlay. Great product & easy to install. Undecided on the amber color. What do you think?? I was originally going to do the light grey tint.525602AC-5069-4E19-A32B-8D556599EED3.jpg5F9702E9-415F-4AA7-A5F2-63E4130642C7.jpg

You are correct...accidentally posted this to wrong thread. Had a couple posts going between a couple threads. I have also added Pro wheels with Falken tires recently so I had that going for me...:woot:

    Hey GunRunner...
I am assuming you did 265/70 on those Falkens. Have you had them rub with your front flaps while in full lock in either direction? I noticed mine have been rubbing a tad bit.

I do like the yellow Lamin-x too!

Assuming these are on factory suspension - any rubbing with the 265 Falken Wildpeaks?

I have experienced some rubbing on the front mud flaps. Only seems to happen at full lock, in either direction, and I hit a small bump or tap on the brakes. Not terrible but definitely rubs.

I vote for BFGoodrich KO2’s. Quiet and all terrain. Buy them from Toyota directly. 17x7. +4 offset.

Since you’re running factory size, understanding that tire manufactures differ in size slightly, I could only assume the rubbing is because of the extra width from the Wildpeaks?

Love the look. I just got the email from a local Toyota dealer that my TRD wheels are in. I'm looking at those BFGs as well. Not looking to do any offroading, just like the more aggressive look to the wheels and tires. How do the KO2s hold up on highway driving?

extremely quiet on highway driving as well. They run very quiet. I have had them on my FJ as well. I read reviews on tirerack.com first and it helped me with the purchase. They also can last up to 55,000 miles.

What load rating did you go with? E? I doubt i'll need to go to 80psi on mine. Thinking there might be weight savings doing with the C rating. I haven't gotten that far into it yet though.

yeah, according to Tirerack the E load are 53lbs and the c load are 44lbs. OEM are 39lbs. I'll probably just go with C load. Lower rotating mass weight should have me some gas money.

    Those look great!

IMO, the KO2s look proper on the TRD Pro wheels!
