Hi, I’m have a 2WD 2008 4Runner Sport with the urban package and I was wondering what lift kits to get. I’ve heard that with some packages and such you can’t get certain ones and I would honestly just like a little help and guidance with them! Thanks in advance!

How do you plan on using it? Any off-roading?

Yes, the lift kit will be for looks and off-roading, like some mud holes and trail going but I’d also like it to be a comfortable-ish ride for daily use too.

Bilstein 5100’s and some coils is a pretty good entry level lift.

I’d shoot a message to Marie, she is the lift kit wiz. And can get you set up at a good price. @HeadStrong Off-Road

Might consider getting a cheap used set off a Tacoma OP. It nets a mild lift and the ride can at times be a little aloofy but for the price. I purchased a set for $150 and then purchased the rear 9.8108G 3/4 eye bushing and its a direct swap! Cheers

Edited: I believe the Tacoma uses Bilstein 4600.

I'd have to recommend the Bilstein 5100 route utilizing your stock coils. Great ride, adjustable height (which in will turn into preload settings if you get lift coils), and pretty affordable. I run Pro Comp ES9000's for my rear with Pro Comp 3" lift coils in the rear which rides just right with my tire carrier and accessories.
