First of all, how can they ticket you on private property?

Certain states allow enforcement of less significant traffic laws (ie stop sign, speed) on private property open to the public for purposes of vehicular travel. Florida is one of them.

All states allow enforcement of "major" traffic laws (such as DUI) on private property open to the public.

City police ticket people in Walmart every day.

Interesting. Didn't know that. I guess they can target tax payers even on private property....no offense meant what so ever with that comment to any law enforcement officers here, it just is what it is. An I love you guys! One of the toughest jobs in this country and extremely underpaid for it.

To be fair that motorist may have committed an offense on the road and just pulled into the parking lot before he was stopped. You can't tell based on that video.

And anyone that films cops in these scenarios is a bona fide loser. I at least have some respect for the videographers that confront the cops, they at least are taking a minor risk of maybe encountering a rogue cop that will give them an ass beating; but it takes a really gutless pussbag to video an interaction on the sly, offer running commentary, and slink away to avoid confrontation.
