D8DF99DD-6498-4AA6-ACEB-7BF0026284FD.jpg most corroded battery terminals!!! And there only a few years old!!!
I guess cause of the Corrola’s proximity sensors and the battery always being used?

Some people want over $40 for a simple terminal connection. I’m using two of the same that I got for my 4R. $10!!!FE073DEF-61DF-492B-AFC0-A9ABC621793E.jpg

How about spraying some cleaner on it first?

Terminal could possibly be fine under all that crap.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
little baking soda and hot water and any acid will be neutralized and not an issue. Grab an old toothbrush and get in there and clean them, I have used Vaseline lightly on the terminals to prevent corrosion going forward.

All you need is a can of coke and wire brush to clean those up. Then spray the terminals with metal protector.

Rather pay twenty bucks...The ground is rusted bad. There’s no saving these...And I’m not wasting any of my Diet Cokes on it...

Water and baking soda. Apply liberally and rinse with water. Cleans that shit right up.

Remember. Baking soda is a base so it reacts with the battery acid to neutralize the acid.

You could spend literally no money and fix it for what’s in you cupboard for a grand total of $free.99

After: the terminals were copper so it speeded up the corrosion process. These should last a lot longer...6095E12E-B6C6-4791-94A7-1C6FBC0047E1.jpg

hello again. I bought a certified Toyo that came of the east coast which had some rust along the frame, exhaust, muffler, etc; cleaned and took care of that issue. Short of a boat or tractor, I have never seen that extent of rust/corrosion. My dear wife drives a '13 Highlander and the engine compartment is pristine, minus the bugs and dust.

Yes sir, your won the prize for.....

Not if you don't spray them with some type of dry lube or protectant.
