Hey guys. I have a 2019 4Runner that I just ordered a lift for. Was thinking about mounting some 285/70/17s on the stock TRD Off-road wheels for now. I came across the Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires on 4wheelparts for a pretty good deal. Reviews seems good, watched some YouTube videos on them and those seem positive, but I don’t really know much about Dick Cepek tires. Anyone running them? Worth a shot, or should I just get some Wildpeak AT3s?Hoping to hear some thoughts on them. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, i used their tires back in the day, and they were a pretty rugged tire. I liked them, but do not know how they are these days. That being said i like the Falken tires, i run the M/T in 285/70/17 with no problems.

A decent tire made by Cooper tires it all comes down to how and where you drive/spend most of your time on road or off-road? Those dick cepek tires looks nice, and look like a hybrid between an AT/mud terrain, like the cooper st maxx which I had on my Tacoma and loved the. I think these trail country exp would be nice.. only real downside is the weight of them... the wildpeaks have great reviews as well might just have to flip a coin LOL ... good luck and if ya get the cepeks post some pics

Thanks for the info guys! I feel like at the price point I can’t really lose on the Cepeks, but I also really don’t want to spend the cash and be annoyed I didn’t just get something else if they are a flop.

Anyone have experience with the Pro Comp AT? Also looking at those. All the tires are basically within 200 of each other in that size, so..

They have a similar thread going on over on Tundras. com. Except instead of an intelligent conversation like is taking place here, it's devolved into nothing but dumb jokes about 'not wanting to be riding around with a bunch of dicks'....

I don't know if Pro Comp stepped up their game, but I remember they had a lot of issues a few years back. I would avoid them.
