Hello all new member introducing my 05 sr5. Got it for a great deal from my father in law. Family discount. I'm from Chicago. 115k miles. I am a huge newbie with this type of vehicle but I been reading a lot of threads in here before buying it. Couple questions, are there any mods to do when on a budget? Also the VSC light will not go off. Any idea why? Thanks in advanced. 20191110_181946.jpg 20191110_181938.jpg Snapchat-2104243684.jpg

Welcome from Wisconsin! That reminds me of my '03! Those are excellent trucks!

As far as the VSC light; it could be a sensor. The best thing would be to get to a good shop and have them plug it in and see if there is a code.

There's not much in the way of cheap mods I'm aware of. What do you want to do with the truck? Knowing your intended use will help people give you suggestions.

Well I know I won't be doing much off-road since I live in the city. Don't really know any off road cites by Chicago. Either way I will be leaving to Texas soon. So probably give it a try over there. I'm not trying to build anything too "aggressive" if you will but I do want something clean and mean to look at. Not sure if that makes sense.
