I wouldn't call it slow, but other cars in the $100K range are much quicker.

I have a buddy with a GMC Sonoma that is quicker.:D

That said, i would love to have one. I really like the look. It reminds me of the old sc300's.

13 sec/1/4 mile is not fast, maybe the slowest 110k car made ,google it

For half the price you can get faster. Or even buy two for $110k

    https://www.supraforums.com/threads/2020-toyota-supra-1-4-mile-test.1117476/

.3ths of a sec. faster than a $26k ford mustang 4 cyl 2020 Mustang Ecoboost

    LOL

Yeah it's more of a luxury highway cruiser. A true luxury GT. I'm sure the people shopping for it aren't concerned with their 0-60 times and burn outs.

True. 6 star quality ! Everything is as nice as any new show car. Beautiful car. I'm sure it would easily cruise as fast as I would feel comfortable doing. I'd love to have it but not at $110k plus tax.

That's exactly what I said. Or did you mean to quote the post that I was quoting?

Read my post. I even mentioned that my buddy's pickup truck is quicker

I agree. People who would buy this aren't just concerned with going fast in a straight line. More about the overall experience.

I think in that price range I would probably prefer a GTR.

The GTR is a fast car. For $108k I don't think you can buy a new car any faster. Demon , 911S , Tesla , those are fast cars. below 10 sec in 1/4 mile.

9's in the quarter mile isn't fast.. It's ridiculous! You should have to take a class to buy a car that fast!

    Vin Diesel would approve!

God dont do it... Keep the 4runner, buy a used nice used 911 in the 60k range.
You wont lose much money.. if any and will have a much more fun driving it than the LC.

Average Manheim auction prices on your 4runner are 30-31, which means the dealer will offer you 28k.. maybe more since the miles are low and it looks to be in perfect shape.

Auction prices for a 2019 LC are 74-80.. so you are taking a 20-25k kick in the nuts the first year, 2018's are in the high 50's to mid 60's... The LC is gorgeous but its a pointless car, it doesnt do anything particularly well besides lose lots of money in depreciation. The higher the MSRP the more depreciation you are going to incur, if you have never bought 6 figure cars you in for a rude awakening. Now if your finances have changed dramatically and you are young, then eff it.. buy what you want. Just realize in 3 years that 100k Lexus is gonna be worth 50k tops.. The smart play is a used 911, say a 2012-2013.. in the 50-60k range.. drive it for 1-2 Years and maybe lose 5k, 10k tops. You get your sports car fix and keep a smart practical vehicle that holds its value and wont cost you a fortune to repair.

WHERE ? 2019 LC500 for $74k -80k You have to be talking about a flood damaged or very damaged car. If not . I'm interested Please help me..

2012 Porsche for $50k. One trip to the dealer could cost thousands. Not me.

Rule #2 Don't ever buy a German car without getting a FACTORY warranty.

I've owned many ,I have one now.

I bought it used with a BMW warranty.

Auction... Look on cars.com, used 2018's in the 60's retail on 2019's in the 80's.
LC is not an in demand car, most dealers have one or maybe 2 on the lot and most have been sitting for a LOOOOOOONG time.
Id guess you can get 10k off sticker with little negotiation.

LC is a pretty car, but its not fast, and not a fun drive. So you would rather take a massive depriciation hit vs the risk of possible repair?

These are all normal title cars, Manheim is who all car dealers use to auction trade ins.
