    Hello Everyone,

We recently purchased a 2005 V8 SR5 as a third vehicle for camping, biking, hiking, etc. and it is quickly (very quickly) becoming the favorite vehicle in the family! When we bought it, the headlights were so yellowed I’m surprised that light would even shine through them. So, I polished them out and all the yellowing is gone but there are cracks all over the lenses that just make them look terrible. In addition to that, the bulbs just aren’t bright at all.

Can anyone recommend an affordable headlight replacement kit with bulbs that use the newer/brighter technology? Looking for a “plug and play” kind of setup. I see a few on Amazon but with no reviews it makes me a bit nervous.

Sorry if this has been posted before. It has to have been. I did several searches and didn’t find this exact question…

I've heard good things about xenon depot. They have a lot of options and most of the products I've seen have a fair amount of reviews. I'm gonna do an LED swap myself with their "extreme LED Pro" house series.

VOLANT cold air intake, LED's inside, rear, and front. tinted window shades.
Clean up the lenses, or replace with good used off eBay. I went as far as getting a clear shield form Weather Tech (who makes floor matts). And they work great!. Then I went to LED's which is easy to install (but get a quality name set. you will need to re-adjust (lower) them because they light up EVERYTHING. I liked them so much , I put them on my motorcycle too.
