It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Try looking at KBB or NADA.

What are you thinking about trading it in for? And why?

Wow! Going the total opposite direction!

I actually really like the LC. It looks like the proper successor to the SC300/400. I thought the 430's were ugly.

High revving V8, Lexus refinement.. I'd drive one.

They're not that quick but really nice. 2019 list 108k dealer says it will come way off that. 2020s are on the way. This may not happen.

    0-60 in 4.4, 1/4 mile in 13.2. I guess it's not really that impressive by today's standards.

    Still, a beautiful car!

You won’t likely won’t recoup most of the taxes. Some states have a max tax of $500, some are percentage based.

I sold a 2018 offroad premium one year after purchase for “invoice price” at 36500. Didn’t recoup taxes or mod money. Luckily I removed most of the armor and recouped some funds that way.

Ah yes. That makes sense. Sometimes selling private party may net you more but sometimes the tax benefit is worth trading in. After all of the tire kickers on my 18 runner, I will likely trade everything in going forward. Minus the shit boxes like the 85 runner. Private party all day.

The LC500 is the nicest quality car I've ever seen but it is heavy and the luxury sports car market is not a hot market. Most people either want performance or luxury not both. At 100k its a great car if you want a luxury sports car. Like I said this may not happen.

Hmm... My sticker was $42k+ and I paid $38.6K.

This is why I bought a new one. With a good discount your not paying much more than a low mileage used one.

The dealer isn't going to give you retail. If the truck is worth $35k, you'll get a few thousand less, probably around $30K

Knock $5-6k off for driving it off the lot plus an additional $2k for loss of a model year. I would think you could sell private party for $32-34k. Dealer trade $28-30k. Just a guess. I could be way off.

Do Kelly blue book instant cash offer also besides checking Kelly blue book. My trade in offer for my 17 Pro is more from the dealer than instant cash offer.

Yea you can definitely get more for trade than cash sell sometimes. I still owed over $28k on my 2017 SR5 Tacoma, had 47k miles. Pinstripe scratches on every panel. A few scratches went down to bare metal. Grapefruit sized dent in rear panel. Burn hole in driver seat... KBB said it was worth around $23K..... The dealership gave me $33K, which payed it off and gave me a decent down payment for the 4runner.

My SR5 4R had a sticker price of $39K, after adding GAP insurance for $975 and the, taxes tag, title I walked out the door around 36K total financed... Which SHOULD be closer to the real price on a SR5 anyways.

I lost on both ends. Lexus price drop was not that large and the 4runner isn't worth very much even with only 2800 miles. Oh well I didn't lose anything by trying.

LOL @ not that quick. This faster than most cars any of us have ever driven in. The interior is one of the nicest I've personally seen. I'd take this over most other exotics, and certainly over anything that the German's make. It's a wonderful GT and has the best boot up screen in the business. ;)
