    3" REVTEK Lift
    Hello All,

I recently purchased a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium and had a 3" RevTeK lift installed. The dealer wouldn't recommended a larger tire size than 275x70x17 on stock rims. Although it looks nice, it appears that I could have went with a larger tire size without making any modifications but I'm not sure... Will 285's fit without needing to make any body modifications and no rubbing?

Maybe, maybe not. My 275s rubbed in full lock in reverse on the driver's side. I had to move the fender liner. If you move the caster enough so you're not rubbing on the body mount, you'll most likely rub on the front bumper/fender liner. There were enough comments about BMCs being needed, that I went with 275s and I'm happy. When they wear out, I'll probably change things up.

As stated, there's no guarantee either way. It depends on offset, alignment, etc.

In general, it seems like MOST people running 285's have had to do a BMC, or some other modifications.

I'm hoping to find out for myself in the next year or so:)
