2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium $37,772 is that a good buy?

Hi everyone. My name is Mike and I am in a market for a new 2019 Toyota 4 runner. I have one dealer who wants $37,772 plus tax and fees. Out the door will be $41,827. Do you think is it a good deal? I am in California Fresno area. MSRP $44139 Please advises. Many Thanks.

First off, congratulations & welcome!
Get the 2019 not the 2020 (if you are not familiar you need to research)! That being said, buy it! Everyone wants the 2020.
We paid about that is March 2019 for T4R OR Premium. All weather mats, crossbars & sunroof.
No KDSS or boards.
We did get the matte gray pro wheels (came with it).
I would buy more of them if I had the money!

It's a good deal for California. Your dealers there don't seem willing to go as low as dealers elsewhere in the country.

Sounds like a good deal, but shooo...what all do you all have to pay out there to get on the road that adds up to over 4 grand?

 

Brain fart...I totally forgot sales tax exists on cars outside of SC. I bet the amount of money that has saved me in my 20 years here would literally be enough to buy another car.

 

They raised it to $500 last year. (or maybe its actually a separate $200 line item for road fee.) But still beats the heck out of a few grand!

 

Nebraska is 10% of purchase for tax, title & liscence fees (insane). Yeah, we worked that $4k into the loan!

 

Hey, I just purchased a 2019 SR5P with running boards, black out emblems, door edge guards, and moon roof for $39K out the door (taxes, registration, processing, etc.). I purchased from Priority Toyota in Springfield, VA (25 min outside Washington D.C.). The dealer also includes oil changes and state inspections for life.

 

Forgot to mention, it also included the third row, which was about $1K
