The mustang parked downtown, the Civic with that absolutely hilarious tail pipe sticking 3 feet into the air, that suburban with the maple leaf pattern... But now, for some strange reason, thinking of repainting my 95 with spray paint... Not just taking a can to it as it sits in the driveway, but actual scraping and brushing the old paint away panel by panel, primer, color and top-coat. None of the scrap yards in my town have a black hood without heat damage, and having a 2019 paint job on the hood with 24 year old body paint... Pretty much equal choices in my opinion at this point. Any thoughts or pics y'all have would be appreciated.

    My thoughts. Don't do it.

Wrap the hood and fender flares and a thin pinstripe down the side. Be creative.:benchpress:

If I was in your situation I would probably bed liner the whole vehicle so I would never have to worry about it again.

Not if you do it yourself. Just roll it on.

Bedliner looks like total dogshit on body panels.

Ever get bedliner dirty and then try and wash it? It stains forever.

I say try the spray paint route on a small panel first. If it turns into too big of a PITA, wrap it.

As long as you prep right and finish it with a 2K clear coat you can get decent results with less expensive spray paint that in theory should last years. The 2K clear coat is like $30 a can though unless you buy it by the case....and you only have 24-48 hours to use once you activate the hardener.

I totally forgot about bed liner lol I actually didn't mind it the couple times I've seen it. Still on the fence about reselling or doing a 3.4 swap but this one doesn't have 4x4... I live on the University of Oregon campus so it's not hard to sell anything though.

If you'd have the patience to remove paint and respray, you'd have the patience to wrap the whole thing. The material isn't terribly expensive, and it's not too bad to DIY.
