I wish mine was 8 inches, or 9 or maybe even 10.

So I read that the nav screen on the 2020 Runner will be 8 inches and have Apple/Android etc...

As my eyes get older - note: I am not aging, in fact I might actually be getting YOUNGER but my eyes are and my vision is slowly getting worse - it is harder and harder to read the screen. I appreciate the over size buttons and knobs on my 2018, but man I would love to have a larger screen, 8,9, even 10 inches.

Hopefully they have also updated the software. I have literally been looking at my destination across the street and to the left while Toyota Nav is telling me to drive another 1/2 mile and turn right. WTF?

None of this is enough to get me to trade mine with less than 10,000 miles but it is nice to see Toyota addressing some of my pet peeves.

Through independent study and field research, my ex-wife determined the ideal size is 7 inches. Some of you could have possibly been part of the research. It wouldn't surprise me.

Since she's your ex now... I'm guessing you weren't up to par?

Get a ruler that only shows centimeters... You could even engrave "inches" at the bottom to really make it look official... Take pictures and share them... Then make sure the woman's had a few drinks before the "big" unveiling..

It'll go one of two ways... Either you'll get laughed at and she'll leave... Or the next morning she won't remember anyways and think she spent the night with king Kong.

Lmfao. Trust me, I’m fine. Me being a pilot and gone 50 days at a time quite often is what sparked her research I would imagine.

Anyway, that was 10 years ago and I was just making a joke.

The new screen is amazing and a massive improvement from 2019. I've only had it for a few days, but love the full compliment of 2020 updates.
