Anyone getting non-MSRP prices on 2020 4runner? Looking at TRD ORP

I have been patiently waiting for the 2020's to arrive, and it looks like we are starting to see them trickle in - likely waiting for the 2019's to get off the lot. It seems like there are good deals on 2019's, but just curious what anyone is getting for 2020 pricing. I am hoping to keeping the spread between the 2019 and 2020 to around $2k in terms of price.

 

Prices have been released. Here's a summary from motortrend. I was hoping to snag an Army Green 2020 because of carplay and push button start, but when I saw the insane 3K increase, I figured I'd get the color I actually like the most and save some serious coin. You can actually get dealers to come down on 19s because there are still a lot on lots. I think the reason for this is that everyone assumed the 2020s would be about the same price or maybe like 1000 more, not 3000! But this is good news if you want a 2019.

On the entry-level SR5 trim, the price of this added modernity rings to $37,140 for 4x2 models and $39,015 for 4x4 models, increases of $735 from before. TRD Off-Road is now $40,860, $1,255 more than the 2019 model.

Premium designation on SR5 and TRD Off-Road adds a smart key with push-button start, heated seats, upgraded audio, and other niceties. For these privileges, Toyota asks for an additional $3,195. This brings prices of SR5 Premium to $40,335 for 4x2 and $42,210 for 4x4, representing an increase of $2,100 over last year's equivalents. TRD Off-Road Premium retails at $43,590, a $2,075 rise.


The hardcore TRD Pro model we just drove on Hell's Revenge trail in Utah gets a cat-back exhaust system plus updated HVAC controls shared with the Limited trim. TRD Pro's $50,885 price is an increase of $2,975, while Limited 4x2 at $46,005 and 4x4 at $48,040 is $1,260 more than before.

 

Thanks for the information, it seems like an increase of $2k is reasonable. So now just waiting for the initial rush to run it's course and maybe grab on in late Nov when the 2019's are not as prevalent. I will one interested to see what prices really start going for, as in how much lower than MSRP are they going for.

 

Looking for non MSRP pricing on the new 2020's - about to jump in on the negotiating and looking to see the first folks and what they are actually paying for a 2020. We know the Pro's will likely not getting anything below MSRP, so looking more at the non-Pro models.
