    Hey All -
One thing that I found recently - was my SUNROOF button doesn't make the glass move ANYMORE.
It Used to - but now - when I hit Either direction - for Vent pop-up, or for Retraction...it CLICKS TWICE, and then - nothing...

I tried pulling the headliner down a bit, to see if something was sticking, but...last thing I wanted to do was GET it open - then NOT be able to close it.

This WAS WORKING Perfectly - a few months ago...as I was cleaning the A-pillar drain tubes out.

CAVEAT - I DID install LED bulbs at the map lights...and ran the wire from those to the 2nd row light, for the Hack... but that wire is out of the way of the glass, motor, etc.

Someone want to offer some guidance on WTF? and..the "forum way" to fix, and not Dealerway? :)

    Thanks all.

Could be as simple as the switch went bad. Not sure the wiring schematics of the Toyota's but there is a jump wire hack you can try if you remove the control panel for the sunroof and unplug the the main plug. You'd have to stick one end of the wire in the power pin receptacle and hold it there and then figure out which of the other pin receptacles controls the opening and which pin receptacle controls the closing...just move back between each open and close pin receptacle. If it opens and closes then it's most likely just a bad switch.

Also look under the control panel and see if there is a place for a allen wrench. Not sure about new sunroofs but the old ones you could open and close this way in case it broke.
