Sorry its a “2019” TRD off-road premium with Trd pro rims, and the fancier interior seats etc. It stickers for $43,300
And I have them down to $39K before tax & title. Any advice if this is a fair price?
Going from a Tacoma TRD off-road too my first 4Runner. Anything else I need to look for, do none of these have a dedicated transmission cooler ??
Thank you for any advice and help

Back in June I got a similar deal. The 20s are right around the corner and now, depending on area people are getting as much as 14% under invoice.

I got my 2018 4R ORP (brand new 4/18) for 36500 before taxes. Taxes vary from state to state so YMMV.

I'm in chicago burbs and most dealers would not touch what I wanted. The going "good rate" on mine listed 44, I got it for 40 last June at Garber in fox lake. 4 other dealers let me walk away.
I'm seeing others get better pricing as year end is near. Good luck!

I just paid 39250 on a 44K sticker ORP with the TRD pro wheels and predator bars. I drove to bloomington, IL for it. I was going between the ORP and the PRO from a dealer in northwest indiana.

In March/18 (in Denver) - I paid $34,500 for a '16 Trail Edition Premium with KDSS (a cream puff with 33k miles on it). I could have had the exact same truck (2018 Offroad Premium) brand new for $39K - a difference of $4500 (though I would have also saved 1/2 percentage point on my loan - new vs preowned). At the time, it was an easy decision since I knew I'd easily find another way to spend that $5K (wheels/tires, suspension, intake & exhaust mods). ** There's no doubt that buying this truck in Colorado contributed to the cost (resale value).

I chose the preowned '16 for the following reasons - it was a cream puff, the previous owner had swapped out the front grill and all the badges for black, added a clear bra to the front end, tinted the front windows, added the toyota rubber floor mats, vinyl wrapped the fenders, added a bug deflector to the hood, & AVS VentVisors all the way around. To me, there was value in all of those things as I would have had to pay out of pocket ($1500+) to do the same things - so I rationalized that the difference between this truck and the new one, was really $6K. I also theorized that the truck was already broken in for me - and while I considered the extended warranty... at almost $3K, I decided against it.

Long story short - a brand new truck would have been amazing, particularly given the premium that the preowned 4R gets. But I also know I would have gone nuts the first time I got a scratch on it. Buying used, I had already accepted that it wasn't perfect when I got it and while the little things that occur here and there piss me off when they happen, they dont break my heart each time. So I figure I sleep better at night

Hey! Thanks for all the input! I determined it was a pretty good deal. No other dealers could beat it or match it and its the color options I wanted!

So I put money down yesterday, wont be able to pick it up for a few days because of work?! They are ordering me a trd pro skid plate too!

Congrats, great price! If I remember correctly my truck was at an MSRP of $44,003. KDSS, Sunroof and a few others add ons from port. I was at $39,700 prior to TTL back in July. Could have gone lower by $500 but had them match a local dealer's price and they had the truck I wanted. It was a painless purchase.

Remember comparison is the death of joy. Enjoy your new truck.

Our 19 trd orp stickered for 44 and we talked them down to 39.5. We went to several stealerships that day and it was the best price we were able to get. The dealership said they had not sold a single vehicle that Saturday and we walked in 5 minutes before closing.
