New to Toyota

Hello - a few months ago I purchase a TRD Off Road for my wife and this is my first Toyota experience and so far I love it. I'm even considering a Tundra as my next truck!

My wife has decided she wants to lift her 4Runner (yes!) but, I'm having trouble finding something that I know will work.

I had decided on the BDS 3" lift kit 809H but their website only list up to 2018. I called them to inquire about 2019 fitment and they say that Toyota is one of the more difficult manufacturers to deal with and theyve been unable to get their hands on engineer drawings to confirm fitment. So until they get one in the shop to try or finally get some drawings, they wont claim that it will fit the 19.

My question here is, has anyone put this kit on a 2019? Or, does anyone know if there were any significant suspension changes from 18 to 19 that would cause this kit not to fit?

Any suggestions on other kits that will raise/level and not run $1000+?

We live in SETX so it will only see the beach and maybe a little mud now and then, no rock crawling planned.

I put the OME lift on my wife’s 2019 TRD ORP and it’s amazing. The ride is perfect, and I even went with the stiffer front springs since I’ll be adding an aftermarket wench bumper soon. I’d definitely give it a hard look.

#2, there are many, many lift options, but if your shop or vendor doesn't understand that the 2019 is basically identical to the 2018 (and other models back to 2009) then I'd recommend not using them to advise/buy/install any products
