are there any drain holes on the bottom of the door or spots you can hook to, maybe a tie-down from there to the hook on the base of the floor? :notsure:

Doesn’t your SUV have a strap-handle on the inside of the hatch?

Just leave it open. You will be fine. I loaded up a 35 year old Weeping Japanese Maple in mine with a bobcat. Prob weighed over five hundred pounds.

I'd rent a truck from Home Depot or Lowes, it's like 20 bucks an hour.

Yep. Middle seats down, Roll the window down, lay a towel or blanket over the sill and stack em 10 wide and two tall across the sill. Maybe put a bungee over them to the tie down loops.

Everybody knows at least one person with a utility trailer tucked away in their back yard or on the side of their house. Go borrow it and bring them a 36 pack of Keystone Light when you return it.

I have used a tie down from the hatch interior handle to the d-ring in the floor when bringing a new door home. For larger items I have a 6x12 trailer.

Looking at an old thread...can't say I've ever heard of that particular trailer size - basically square...

    Well, there you go! Nice.

Great minds, etc...my Harbor Freight utility trailer has the same treated lumber stake sides. I did go with composite decking for the bed - I'll never need to replace it.
