if I have a 25 foot stretchy recovery strap and need to span 50 feet, can I add an appropriately hefty standard tow strap to bridge the gap and still make use of the bungee’s kinetic storage properties?

You could but I wouldn't shock a strap, just get a 50' bubba rope imo.

What’s the difference between a non-stretchy strap and a Bubba rope?
