We tried some other brand that claimed it was indstructable, and I kid you not, it had a big split right down the middle of the ball in the very first play session.
compared to a tennis ball, these things are better because they squeek, they last longer, and that fuzz that is on tennis balls is probably not good for dogs, and these are made out of something simliar but different. I assume that if they make these for dogs, they assume they're going to be chewed on, and tennis balls can't say that since that's not what they're desinged for.
it's a sqeeky tennis ball for dogs, what can i really say!?
I like the squeaky-ness of these and it makes my dog have to bite down and work for it but not too much that it is impossible. The balls are also somewhat bouncy so a good game of catch can be had. They will wear out for that purpose of course so I prefer to use them as squeeze toys. The noise is annnoying but does not last long. At the price point I would definitely buy it again and my dog likes them okay.
Note: I do not have PRIME since Amazon.com does NOT stand behind their BS mark-up service and have become WORSE since they started pushing it so much at delivering non PRIME items.
My Golden Doodle destroyed the first one in a few minutes. The next one in about the same amount of time. I’m saving the third one strictly for outside play.
As for the details, these have held up pretty well. I have the medium size and they are the size of regular tennis balls. I can't say how they would hold up to rough chewers, as mine are pretty gentle when it comes to these.
