There were a handful discounted at Maund in Austin. I was surprised since I have never seen them advertise 4Runners discounted. The ones discounted have added lifts, aggressive tires and the off road package.
No sense in me buying a special color since I tend to beat up the low hanging plastic on the corners.

    None. Yet.
Paid MSRP on my Pro earlier this month... Had to order it to secure one in SuperWhite. Most of what my local dealership was getting were VDB...

I just love the white!! There is just something about a white vehicle with dark wheels/accents.

We got $3,500 off MSRP on our 19' Voodoo Blue TRD Pro. Ended up being about $46k OTD here in Western North Carolina back in February this year.

IMO the pro doesn’t offer anything special that can’t be added on later for much less. I was shocked to see that most 2018 pros I looked at only had 3” spacers in the rear and stock shocks, and the Bilstein /Toyota tunned front coils and shocks and they call it the “off road package” and charge $5000 for it, a nice set of Bilstens run$599 . Outside of that it has the TRD tires and wheels. Cost for those if you bought them yourself $1800- $2000

Better to buy the TRD off road premium stock and add on the things you want. DIY and save on install costs. I love the sound package in the premium, and the moon roof. PRO doesn’t have side marker lights, moon roof etc... I sold the OEM wheels and tires for $650, and tried to sell the stock coils and shocks for $250, so you can get a bit of your money back and invest it into the 4R

MSRP on a 2019 White Pro, but negotiated no dealer fees, a long extended warranty and toyota care pre-paid maintenance package for free... They wouldn't budge on the price, but acquiesced to the other stuff fairly quickly.

I debated on doing the offroad and lifting it myself as so many people do, but this will be a daily driver for a few years, and I didn't want to change anything that voids a warranty in anyway...

(very bad past experience with that... will never mod a new car again ever...probably)

Therefore the Pro offered a little more tire and baby lift (1"), and I have a good friend that works at Fox, so I don't mind supporting them. I had driven a Fox shocked Pro earlier in the year and was absolutely bombing down some beat up fire roads. At speed, the Factory Fox shocks on the 4runner make it feel like a baby raptor,,, but with out ford's terrible reliability, shoddy suppliers and crappy overall quality..
5 years down the road, or whenever the fox shocks are worn out, I'll be looking into the long-travel lift kits.... at which point what model it was doesn't matter...

Also my kids liked the "stormtrooper" motif the white Pro's have...

Typically dealers won’t hold it against you. At least they aren’t suppose to and it won’t void the warranty from what I understood by the dealer. They told me to do whatever I wanted. There is some law to protect people against this. I suppose it depends on how extreme the mods were and if it was done correctly (i.e. lifting and using diff drop spacers and control arms as appropriate) and if the dealer proves or suggests the mods have compromised the vehicle. I can see adding a ton of weight like bumpers, winches, 3” lift , second battery’s, etc.. etc.. and depending on the issue the dealer could blame it on the mods. Also the dealers do mods beyond the 2” lift, 175 tires as showcase pieces and higher end vehicles.

For that reason I did use use the OEM TRD Black Matt wheels and haven’t done anything like cutting out wheel wells and only did 1.75” lift and didn’t need any of the drop kits so far.

    Nothing yet. Just wait.
I caught a sales guy on the last business day of the month. He was on the verge of setting a personal sales record. He offered me about $2k off of MSRP for my TRD Premium. Normally, nobody gets a discount because these trucks sell themselves.

Actually that’s a good buying strategy. Visit the second to the last day, try to wheel and deal, then come back the last day of month and squeeze the discounts !

I just grabbed a 2019 Voodoo Blue last week. I was able to get it at 42,900 and had the dealer remove the dealer mark ups

    $999- lifetime powertrain warranty
    $350 - Remote Start

I assume it’s because they have demand shifting to the 2020 and Army green.

That said I was willing to pass on the newer tech and features for about an $8K swing in price. 97EE687B-DDA9-445B-9B26-1C49606A518B.jpg

I don't know if you already bought it yet, but my dealer here in Colorado is going 1400 under MSRP for a 2019 4runner... and they gave a lot for my trade

I paid MSRP.... BUT, negotiated running boards and more for my trade in ('17 Tacoma TRDOR)

When you can't get the price down see what they'll add without adding more money
