    Inner boot ripped on passenger side. You guys think I should replace boots ? Or replace axel ?

    Debating on paying for it because I don’t have the time rn. Wonder how much that’ll run me ? For both sides

    I would guess around 500 bucks on the low end. Prolly more though. And an alignment after that. If you do have a shop do it I recommend asking them to stretch the boots. The tend to last a lot longer.

    They make a pneumatic tool to stretch CV boots. A buddy of mine has one and I've had good luck using it. My pickup had about 8" of lift before I got rid of the ifs and the CV angles were pretty bad. Stretching the boots helped give the joint a bit more room before starting to wear the boot and also holds more grease.
