Installed the Viofa A129 dash camera this morning before it got too hot in the garage. Had been in the Rav4 since last fall and have been happy with it. The standard cable for the rear camera is too short so will have to order the extra long one. These are great dash cams for the money IMHO.

No problem. It records and saves video while driving or parked. The one in the pic is forward facing and is wide angle so will "see" two lanes to either side of the vehicle. Could be useful for determining fault for accidents, moving violations, or parking hit and runs. I have the same dash cam in the Taco. Thankfully so far I've viewed recorded videos for entertainment purposes only. :D

TRD ORP and I have the puddle lights. Now I have to add red LEDs to my ever growing list of things to do. Curious to see how the fogs turn out, please post up info as soon as you get them in

Thank you! Just got an email from McGeorge Toyota that the skid, all weather floor liners, cargo tray, and TRD Pro wheels have shipped! No word yet on the LED fogs.

I don't know why I didn't consider the OEM fogs, I just ordered the Morimoto and now learned OEM are cheaper! Can you please post before and after pictures from inside to out for lighting output .... Thanks!

I think the Morimoto are going to be a lot brighter. Seems like I read that somewhere recently.

The Toyota OEM LEDs are actually brighter than the Morimotos. Here's a good thread on fog lights. Go to page 45, post #882 for Morimoto/Toyota LED comparison data.

Does anyone know... Do the 3rd gen Tacoma fogs fit the 4runner?
    (Or 2nd gen?)

I wouldn't sell them to get the Toyota LED fogs. Check out the KC, Rigid, or Baja fogs (test pending) in crashnburn's TW thread. I have the KCs on my Taco and they are awesome.

Installed the TRD skid plate and OEM black LED fog lights this weekend. Didn't have to chase the rear threads for the skid. Went in behind the fender liners to install the fog lights, didn't remove the bumper.

All weather floor liners fit and look great as they do in the Taco.

OEM all weather cargo tray. Not as rubbery and grippy as the floor liners.

Also installed Phillips H9 halogens in the low beams. I run these in the Taco and brighter than the stock H11 halogens. Still waiting on the Avid Off Road rock rails...

How confident are you that the H9's are ok on the factory wiring harness?

Not sure if the wife would like blacked out emblems so dipped them to see what it would look like. First time I've used the stuff but came out pretty good.

Yep, I've been following all of his threads for quite awhile. I'd still like confirmation that we're not at the absolute threshold for wire gauge, amps, etc, in our 4runners. But I don't know squat about electric stuff.

Oh now I understand your question. I'm totally confident, the fuse would blow if the H9 drew to much current. Been running the H9s in the Taco for a few months now with no issues and don't see why the 4R would be any different.

Wire gauge shouldn't be a concern either? I wondered if they'd overheat or something?

Did the first oil change today at 1550 miles. I'll do one again at 3000 then 5000 and every 5000 thereafter. Just wish the TRD skid plate had an access hatch for the filter like the Taco's. :frustrated:

Yes, it has to be removed to open the 3rd row.

Ya I think I saw that post. It was like a canvas material IIRC. The way I look at it with the 3rd row up/open you won't be carrying any cargo back there anyway. The cargo liner I have can be rolled up and stored behind the 3rd row however.
