I have two "SR5" blackout pieces for sale. Never installed. Fits nicely over stock SR5 emblem. Matte black. $25 and I will cover shipping to the lower 48.

lol...nah, that is part of the deal, you have to take the emblems.

I don't understand why the makers of the overlay kit didn't at least try to minimize the "connective tissue" (for lack of a better phrase). The rest of the kit looks awesome because they do not connect, they're individual pieces so I understand the SR5 is connected, but they could have done a better job on this.

You just stick it to the original emblem?? Or it replaces the emblem? Noob question

It has two sided tape on the inside, it fits snuggly over the original emblem and the tape holds it in place. Go to the "what have you done to your 5th gen" thread, I posted pics of the rest or the emblems

Yeah, I hear you. I am happy with how it looks for all the other pieces and probably would not have spent the money if I knew these pieces look like this. Maybe I will ask the vendor for a few bucks back but it would probably be a waste of my time.

They are brand new. $25 and I will ship them to you at my cost (depending on where you live, if you are in Katmandu or Bali, shipping is on you, most anywhere else, I will cover the shipping).

I also have the SR5 overlays. I've thought about just putting them under a random SR5 owner's windshield wiper as a surprise gift since I can't sell them hahaha

Co-worker of mine just picked up a SR5. I slid the front and SR5 logo under his wiper on Monday. Checked it this AM and he installed them. Best part is he has no idea I am the one who owns the other 4Runner in the lot.

You guys with the overlays... any problems with adhesion after a year or two?

LOL. Did you end up just removing the side SR5 logos? If so, what did you use to do it?

the ones on my 4runner have only been on a week, but I used the same double sided tape that these use, on exterior trim on my old Trailblazer and it held on for at least 3 years, and that was with no proper prep work
